Branding & themes
Two separate things live close together here: Branding (white-labelling — your own product name, logo and favicon) and the theme menu (everyone's own choice of appearance, in the topbar).
Branding
In the sidebar, go to System > Settings and select the Branding quick-link button (admin only). This is the installation's own identity — shown in the sidebar, the login page, the browser tab, the setup wizard and in e-mails to customers.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
Product name | Shown in the browser tab, the sidebar, the login page and the setup wizard. Empty falls back to the default. |
Short name (sidebar) | Used only when no custom logo is set. |
Sender name (e-mail) | Shown as the sender name in the recipient's inbox. |
Logo (light) | PNG, SVG or WebP, max. 2 MB. Shown in the sidebar and on the login page. |
Logo (dark, optional) | Variant for dark themes. Empty means the light logo is reused. |
Favicon | PNG, SVG, WebP or ICO, max. 512 KB. Shown in the browser tab. |
This page is read-only unless your account has the Branding manage permission — an admin without it sees the same values but no upload buttons or Save button.
The theme menu
The palette icon in the topbar (next to the language picker) opens a scrollable list of every theme the product ships — 19 in total, each a complete light or dark color set. Each account chooses its own; it is a personal display preference, not a system-wide setting.
Light themes: Light, Sand, Mint, Frost. Dark themes: Dark, Graphite, Red, Teal, Blue, Navy blue, Plum, Onyx, Ruby, Amber, Citrine, Jade, Glass, Amethyst, Rose — several of the newer dark themes (including Glass) additionally carry a glossy, translucent surface finish.
Changing your own theme never affects anyone else — it is stored per browser, not as a system setting.
Check
Open the theme menu and confirm your own account's theme is checked; open Branding and confirm the product name field matches what you expect to see on the login page.
