Servers

In the sidebar, go to System > Server. This is the registry of Asterisk/proxy servers this installation knows about — which ones exist, their role flags, and their reported version.

Servers: the one Asterisk server on this test system, with its role flags.
ColumnMeaning
IP / hostnameHow this server is reached.
TypeWhat role this server plays, e.g. asterisk.
ActiveWhether this server entry is in use.
GUI / DB / Core / GWWhich roles this one server carries — the web interface, the database, the Asterisk core, and whether it is marked as a gateway.
VersionThe reported software version on that server.
Row actionsStatus, GUI, DB, Core and Gateway toggle those role flags for the row; Test checks connectivity (an AMI test for the Asterisk role); Delete removes the entry.
Note

The product's own banner on this page: "CCL / multi-server device assignment (cloud PBX) is not connected in the new system yet and will be added later. Provider assignment happens in the provider management." — so this page is currently about registering and flagging servers, not assigning devices to a specific one of several.

Warning

This page is the registry of which servers exist and what roles they carry — it does not show whether the services on them are currently up. For that, live per-service status with restart buttons, see Administration & API → System status ("doctor").

Check

Use each row's Test action to confirm this installation can still reach that server; if a role (GUI/DB/Core/GW) looks wrong for what a server actually does, its own action toggles it.
