The default user template
One place to set what a blank "New user" form starts with, so you don't have to pick the same tariff, LCR and limits by hand every time.
Open Customers > Users and click Default user (top right of the list). The page heading calls it the "Default user template", described as "Presets for new users (confline-based)".
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
User type | The Type a new user form opens with. |
Postpaid / Blocked | Starting state of the same two checkboxes on the user form. |
Default tariff (ID) / Default LCR (ID) | The tariff and LCR a new user form starts with — enter the numeric id (visible in that tariff's or LCR's own URL). |
Currency (ID) | The starting currency, by id. |
Credit (-1 = unlimited) | Starting credit limit; -1 means unlimited, 0 means no credit. |
Daily limit (0 = unlimited) / Max. call rate | Same meaning as on the user form — see Call limits. |
Warning email active / Warning email balance | Whether new users start with a low-balance warning e-mail enabled, and at what threshold. |
Create invoices | Starting state of "Generate invoices" on the user form. |
Recording allowed | Whether new users start with call recording permitted. |
PBX Pool | The PBX pool new User-type accounts join by default. |
Password length / Username length | Minimum lengths enforced when creating a user — not a default value, a rule. |
This template only sets what the form starts with — you can still change every field for an individual user while creating it. It saves clicks, it doesn't lock anything in.
Click Save template to apply changes. Resellers and Partners get their own template, scoped to their own customers, separate from the operator's.
Check
Change one value here (for example the default tariff id), save, then open New user — the field you changed should already be pre-filled with the new value.
