Settings overview

Where the system-wide options live: the Settings page itself, and the row of quick-link buttons that opens everything else in this section.

In the sidebar, under System, select Settings. This page is admin- and accountant-only, and it is where general, install-wide options live — not the per-customer settings you find on a user, device or tariff.

Settings: the quick-link buttons and the General settings form.

The quick links

The buttons at the top of the page open the other admin pages that do not have their own item in the sidebar navigation, or that are easier to reach from here:

The quick-link row — each button opens one page in this section (or a related one).

Note

Which buttons you see depends on your account's permissions. An account with read-only access to Settings sees the same page without buttons or editable fields.

General settings

The form itself groups the install-wide options into four tabs:

GroupCovers
GeneralCompany name and e-mail, the browser tab title, and the text shown on the front page and the login page.
Registration & defaultsWhether self-registration is open, the Asterisk server IP, default caller ID, the starting balance for a new user, and dashboard/active-calls refresh intervals.
VariousCSV export format, the date format, and small display toggles (show rates to users, forgot-password link, logout link).
ModulesWhether optional modules such as SMS are active.

Languages

Under System > Sprachen (shown in English as Languages), an admin sets the system-wide default language, and every account orders and activates the interface languages it wants to offer.

Languages: the default for new accounts, and the ordered, activatable language list.
FieldMeaning
Default languageApplies to anyone who has not chosen a language of their own. Empty means English, the product's source language.
Native name / Short nameHow the language names itself, and its short code (e.g. de).
ActiveWhether the language appears in the language picker at all.

Check

Open Settings and confirm you can see the four General settings tabs and the quick-link row matching your account's permissions.
