Monitoring & Alerts
Everything under the MONITORING menu, plus Alerts, Notifications, Background Tasks, Cron Actions and Servers under System — and the packet-capture panel on a call's detail page.
This is an admin (and mostly accountant) area: automatic fraud scoring and blacklisting, listening in on a live call, alerting the operator when something goes wrong, and the scheduled jobs that keep the system running. Nothing on these pages was changed to write this section — every screenshot was taken by looking, not saving.
Three of the nine MONITORING menu items — Blocked IPs, Blocked countries and Whitelist — are covered in Administration & API, not here: see Security: blocked IPs & countries. This section covers the rest.
The seven pages
- 1Fraud monitoring: blacklists & scores
- 2Call tracing / listen in
- 3Alerts
- 4Notifications
- 5Background tasks & cron actions
- 6Servers
- 7Packet capture (PCAP) & call log
Where this sits
A few related pages live in other sections, so this one does not repeat them:
| Looking for… | See |
|---|---|
| Blocked IPs, blocked countries, the whitelist of trusted IPs | Administration & API → Security |
| Whether the services on a server are actually up right now | Administration & API → Backups, health & integrity check |
| A plain live list of calls in progress, no listen-in controls | Reports → Active calls (live) |
| The rest of a device's settings, beyond automatic PCAP capture | Devices & PBX → Device settings in depth |
