Billing & Invoices

How money moves through Voiplix: prepaid vs. postpaid customers, manual payments and online payment gateways, invoices and the invoice run, credit notes, recurring service fees, and currencies.

Everything under Customers in the sidebar that deals with money lives here. A customer (user) is either prepaid — calling from a balance — or postpaid — calling on credit and getting billed afterwards. Either way, the same building blocks apply: payments put money on an account, the invoice run turns a period's calls into an invoice, credit notes correct an account without editing an invoice, and services add recurring fees (like a monthly line rental) on top of call charges.

Note

The screenshots in this section use a demo account, "Demo Company" (democompany), created only for this wiki. Its numbers (a 0.04 EUR invoice, a 5.00 EUR top-up, a 2.50 EUR credit note) are real but tiny — this is what the screens look like with actual data, not a mockup.
